I don’t like to win at all cost either…but kids make mistakes at 18-22 y/o times in life. I am not defending assault either, assault is assault and should be dealt with. Resisting arrest cause you just had a screaming match with your girlfriend at 4Am naked in your bedroom, and cops busting into your condo spraying you with pepper spray is another. I am not defending just saying if it isn’t as bad as it sounds, still discipline the boy and suspend him for the year. That kind of “me” character needs to be disciplined, but to throw away a young mans career based on a split second decision is something we can change. June Jones built his team on these types of characters some made good some still made bone headed decisions…so if life. lets wait until the full story comes out and see how Rolo deals with him…i just hope it’s not as bad as it sounds. I don’t want Hawaii to be like a SEC-win-at-all-costs sort of team.

If it’s established that Mr. Tulimasealli’s actions were wholly indefensible, Coach Rolovich may have to do something more harsh than redshirt the team’s best player.

As much as I want to win, I don’t want to be Urban Meyer-era Florida.

Doesn’t sound like KT and Gifford will be making the trip to Australia. Tough lesson to learn but a fair punishment given the situation.

Young men making mistakes is inevitable. Just have to hold them accountable and move on. If not, then you’re setting a dangerous precedent and the wrong message.
