On that note, RAMS may wish to touch base with our former Serbian alumnae (aka the European trip the team took). Having a few foreign players who are national team members (for their respective countries) may be better than many Fab 50 recruits (due to the experience factor). It may also offer professional opportunities for players like Nikki Taylor.

One year, UH was invited to participate in the lesser post-season volleyball tournament (UH didn’t qualify for the NCAAs) but declined to maintain the program’s status. And the NCAAs had only 32 teams back then.

Not clear what the benefit would be (like being crowned “the tallest midget” of a tournament that’s as significant as a pimple on a fly’s butt) and not clear what the cost would be (for example, some of the lesser NCA men’s basketball post-season tourneys are pay-to-play). Given the budget constraints, paying to play in such a tourney would be financially irresponsible.

If UH wants to be top 10 (not merely top 25) team, RAMS must hire a strong recruiter and make more of an effort to land international players, many of whom don’t have a “stay close to home” desire.

I think each of the 270 or so Div I teams that don’t make the NCAA tournament should each receive a participation trophy.

It’s the difference between being reactive and proactive.

When it did exist earlier (early 90’s), teams which are now atop the B1G and national landscape were not to proud to be participants.

&How about polled “RV” lol.

Btw, how many statistics courses did Ah Mow take at MHS and at UH? She going to be able to navigate through all that math, re: RPI?
