Castillo was only practicing at middle because of Mitchem injury, also the backup opposite. Play for her should be on the left.

As for the national team tryouts … Taylor did not make either of the Collegiate Tour teams but spoke to USAV and they said that all the various teams have not been announced and may not be until May.

Good to hear coach Dave speak so highly of Maglio on last night beach broadcast. She may be stuck at middle because of team needs. Who knows she may preferred middle for now.

Judging by her sand results Maglio should be able to play OH indoors. Gives UH coaches even more choices (Kirsten Sibley, Kalei Greeley, Casey Castillo, Emily Maglio with Granato for spot duty.) Ditto for the middles (Annie Mitchem, Natasha Burns, Casey Castillo, Emily Maglio, Kirsten Sibley.)

Still no word on the US National Team tryouts…?

Long played with Tucker last week. Not sure what slump you’re referring to.
Long has had several partners this season as Hall looks for the best combos.
was with Zalopany vs. Pepperdine, didn’t play vs. Long Beach State, Zalopany vs. USC and UCLA at Zuma

Wahine earn Big West weekly honored for third time in a row. This week it’s Ari Homayun and Hannah Zalopany who went 3-0 when paired at No. 5.
