On an average performance night, the Wahines should beat both Trojans and Gophers. Go Bows!

How many players can the team travel with and what players are staying home?

The selection, like other things in life, is flawed. Many prominent coaches have challenged it over the years but it clearly remains inconsistent and often defying the obvious.

So for me, let’s return to focusing on the only thing that really counts if we want the wahines to continue playing – winning the next match. Watched USC take UCLA to 5 sets and it is pretty clear that Trojans will give us all that we can handle.

Now going back to where Hawaii is being shipped to for the Tournament, i find it ridiculous but not surprising. year after year this happens, and i am not gonna lie, i am getting tired of it all. last season we defeat the reigning national champions, & make it to the elite 8. you would think this team would get some sort of respect for that, but they don’t….again. i personally don’t know what Hawaii is gonna have to do to get some respect from the NCAA committee.

i hope All the disrespect lights a fire in this team to push and make people believe. i know people will say things like: Stop complaining, or at least they made it to tournament. Seriously I am happy they made it to the tournament, but the disrespect being given to the team is what I don’t appreciate.

TBH i am at the point where i say screw the NCAA tournament all together, Hawaii will never be given a fair shot and that sucks. but this team don’t need a National Championship to prove the are the best. All of Hawaii knows it & we are proud.

So Good Luck to the team, safe travels to Minneapolis.

MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE!

1. If it feels like a set up it probably is, expect the worse to come. (It may be human nature to serve one’s own self interests, but the temptation to cheat–if given half a chance–is always there.)

2. Anything out of the ordinary should be scrutinized, reported, and changed as necessary. (Including room & board, food vouchers, practice time, even travel)

(Perhaps some slights die hard, coach was at one time a voting member but left after a disagreement.)

Yes, get to the Banyan/Kiawe Tree root of the problem, revamp/change the entire selection committee members.

I’m assuming its filled with people who can later say they were on the committee? And possibly they just kinda don’t really care about making it fair or whatever, they just put whoever where-ever in the tournament?
