I would love to see Hughes/Claes get taken down this year, but they are just so dang good. I hate seeing them win, but excited to know they are both Americans and will more than likely be in Tokyo winning gold.

All the schools have excellent #1 pairs, so there is the talent to do so, but I just don’t see it happening. So happy they are seniors.

No. 5 Hawaii dominates No. 6 Arizona and is up 4-0. Team could definitely be a contender.

My thoughts on the order of the flights… I have a feeling No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 are all interchangeable. However, I think Hall will keep Taylor/Schucht and Maglio/Weaver at No.2/3 because they could dominate their flights. After all we’re talking about two All-Americans (Taylor and Maglio) that were part of No. 1 pairs before.

Obviously Martin/Tucker are more than worth of a No. 1 flight, but is that USC pair still active? I believe Pepperdine’s No. 1 is also dominate. So maybe Hall is kind of “sacrificing” flight 1, for guaranteed wins at flight No. 2/3.
