I don’t have the first email that went out to season ticket holders but the schedule they got months ago is not what ended up being. Because Shoji had the big west retweak the schedule.

We’ve talked about the last home match being on Nov. 1 for months. Not sure why it is an issue now.

will talk about the subregional money later on new thread. but the NCAA pays for travel.

31. think LA then San Diego an envious schedule or Washington to Oregon. pretty easy travel.
BUT you’d have to get those teams to agree to it.

The first is handled in the preseason and the later during the season. We do not have control of the NCAA but we do control our destiny by selecting our best to play. Unless we put our most talented assets in the front row it will not matter where or who we play. Shoji must coach up. Now is the time. Move on.

Thus increasing their numbers giving that player the best chance to be AA.

A question for those who know…..Shoji has continually said the team won’t travel preseason because of the hit to the bottom line ($$$). My question is, if Hawaii hosted a subregional, how much of the revenue will be kept at Hawaii and how much is returned to the NCAA? Followup question, would a preseason weekend spent traveling to play RPI boosting teams do enough to guarantee hosting a subregional?

Imagine flying to LA to play USC then down to San Diego to play USD? Or up to Washington and then down to Oregon?

I agree with you on certain points, I have watched all SSC matches being a season ticket holder, and sorry to say Casey has more potential to terminate than McKenna. She may have less pace on her hits, but her contact point is higher. You can see that with the angle of the hits on the ball. Both are gamers but McKenna has way more playing time, especially the last match playing 2+ sets and going only 1-1-9 in attacks. I say give Casey equal time to relieve the starting OHs, she has barely any time playing the front. She may be a player that not show as much in practice but lights up when in match situations.

I believe NCAA is vulnerable to a federal antitrust lawsuit brought by the mid majors and smaller schools. A sharp legal team could fashion a convincing argument that would include charges of collusion with the Bigs.

Nikki is already there but she is really a finesse player trapped in a powerful body.

(.029)….We know they both can play backrow but it is evident by Castillo’s stature and statistics that I wouldn’t hesitate to play her more at OH….It’s just the facts!!!
