I was using the term ‘bettered the ball’ much as Kamana’o did. thought Uiato did that well this past tournament. which is why I voted her in the top spot. they don’t ask us about MOPs. They ask that we put our top choice on the first line and they add up points, much as the poll does.

I remember Russ Rose being ‘shocked’ that we have voted Salima Davidson, his setter, the MVP of the HAL when they played at Blasidell. Think he said something like, “he didn’t know we knew that much about vb to vote like that.’ that is when I learned about (I hope) his sense of humor.
I voted her MVP. she did what Kamana’o did last weekend especially … she bettered the ball.

They were both fantastic. We preaty much agree that Mita is the best setter we have seen this year. I think the same could also be said of Longo. Adolpho also deserved to be all-tournament , she really stepped it up a notch and she remembered Roofer 68s name!
