Cindy, I know you weren’t there. But I thought I saw Hartong with some kind of brace on her arm or shoulder. Did she have some kind of medical procedure?

Irvine played well tonight. UH played streaky. It was the Warrior’s inconsistency that cost them the match. Letting an overpass fall, two players colliding going after the same ball multiple times, being out of rotation, etc. Maybe they were trying too hard. Wade doesn’t seem to have any answers. Hawaii was completely out coached this weekend.

Also do they practice with Komisarek in as libero? The serve receive and defense looks a lot more sloppy when he’s in.

They need to win the next 4 road games. Pacific shouldn’t put up much resistance but Stanford is dangerous team.

Tonight was a very even match in my opinion. Both teams had their runs as each set wasn’t close (except for the last one). I was still pretty impressed by how both teams played tonight.

I think it’s so frustrating because UH has the talent and capabilities to beat all the teams they lost too. But poor play by some, and poor coaching at times just gets them. Hopefully they can win all these coming up games

4. perhaps. but BYU hasn’t always done well here. UH could have beaten the Cougars last year in the playoffs in provo. it went 5 and ended on a controversial call that probably should have gone UH’s way.

It’s just frustrating, Last year UH was middle of the pack and they are middle of the pack yet again. It’s very possible UH will only win two more times this year ( against Pacific) because Pepperdine, Stanford and BYU are tough, and better than UCI IMO.

1. UCI hasn’t lost to many people in winning two consecutive national titles.
2. UH already has as many wins than in all of last season.

No disrespect to the players or coaches, but it sometimes seems like UH doesn’t make the kind of progress that other teams make…UCSB has been getting better & better over recent years & UCI & BYU don’t really seem to have down years…As has been said earlier, it’s really frustrating to see UH lose consistently to these teams…
