7. she is and her game is well-suited to sand, which is her love.
Sweet that her grandfather … Lisa Strand-Maa’s dad … got to see her play this week.

Big surprise is they had to beat Katie Spieler/Nikki Taylor for the championship. It’s awesome to hear how good the Speiler/Taylor pairing is, did not expect them to be UH’s second best pair, I thought they would be 5th/6th at best, Great job.

I can’t wait to see how UH’s does against Pepperdine and USC.

UH MUST win Sunday if they want to make the playoffs IMO. Winning at Stanford and Pepperdine will be really hard and UCI and Stanford are UH”s big threats get those 7th and 8th spots in the tournament since UH already blew it against UCSB and USC.

For the Warriors, from the very first point I thought the Warrior’s passing was suspect. What kept them up was their serving. If only they had won that 2nd set. Once their serving fell apart it was all down hill. Siki was yet again targeted on serve and he needs to step it up. On the other hand, Olsen needs to be a bigger and more consistent
offensive threat to take some of the pressure off of Siki. They’ve seen this game plan before, they should have been ready.

Half the time Ramos had to run down balls, the other half of the time, Ramos’s poor set selection and placement cost them. Why Wade didn’t sub in Franciskovic earlier is beyond me.

Wade should have just phoned it in tonight. His coaching or lack of coaching didn’t seem to make any difference tonight.
