3. UH isn’t relying on UCLA to lose to CSUN (which has already happened). Merely pointing out that the only way UH gets in is by finishing ahead of UCLA or tying the Bruins.
The MPSF doesn’t care who your players are. It’s about the top 8 teams. and if UH finishes No. 8 then they are among the best 8. IF ICLA finishes 9th, are you going to say that UCLA doesn’t have top caliber players and the MPSF will say something about that?
The bottom lines is this is the toughest conference in the country in any sport.
That’s what the MPSF knows.

Lastly, I think Hawai’i’s starting 6 needs to be better than the competitors. A rotation of 9 players for Hawai’i. Some players were never MPSF caliber. This may pose to be a problem for Hawai’i to win the MPSF. I think the MPSF will bring this up, if Hawai’i does get into the MPSF playoffs. One good point I’d like to make before tonight’s match up with BYU at Stan Sheriff Center.

Hawai’i cannot rely on UCLA losing or CSNU winning to make it into the playoffs. MPSF should be a tight schedule, and only the best get picked. Win BYU and then they can consider themselves in the MPSF playoffs.

They should go for winning all four and leave no doubt!! But byu and pepperdine are obviously tough , they are the top two in the league for a reason.

I think UH will be ok if they win only 1 (of 2) against BYU, which removes some pressure. UCLA finishes their season with 2 tough matches (LBSU and BYU) and 1 auto-win (Cal Baptist). So if UH can get at least 1 win versus BYU, they’re definitely still in it … given they own the tie-breaker with UCLA.
Wow, Northridge’s win is huge ….
