Even more so…maybe very young now, but may be feeling it later on. This is why they have pitch counts on youth baseball. I wondered this about Jarrett Arakawa, starting QB at Iolani for a few years, also basketball, then pitching. Played summer baseball and is now out injured for the season. So much game action for several years in several sports. The risks of overuse/lack of recovery time injuries… It would be interesting, as this is a rare combo of college sports. Danny Farmer did it at UCLA, but he was a WR, not a QB.

Playing both sports for several years already and starting as a young underclassman at Punahou…again, I’d be concerned about wear and tear on the shoulder in college.
