failing that since other sports dont have to deal with the football, couldnt they deglamorize the football? they dont win for jack anyways. not unless the opponent team ditched them with the ball.

As I said, don’t know. It will be up to the Big West. As LC mentioned, they’ll have to consider football. But UH has rarely had home volleyball on football Saturdays. This year was a bit of an aberration with football home for the early part of the season. and it’s been rare that the Wahine were here on homecoming weekend.
Other sports have to deal with the T-S schedule so don’t see it as problem for volleyball. They have study hall, they have the internet which makes it so much easier to stay on top of school work.
As for Sundays, I think it works well for families since youth sports aren’t normally played on Sundays. the 5 p.m. start is early enough to get home in plenty of time. not like the 8 p.m. starts when you don’t get out of the arena until after 10 p.m.

Traveling would consist of missing at least three days of school based on the T – S schedule, whereas the Friday – Sunday venture means one less day missed at least for the travel team.

So will they play Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday. I would think with Tai, they’d go Thursday/Saturday.

well glad the team is practicing skills and drills AND serving. na wahine better be ready for the beach and csun this weekend.

‘could of, would of, should of’ does not apply to na wahine. it is rise of the wahine, not rise and fall of the wahine. and definitely not death of the wahine (like almost happend vs irvine)
