The canoe cannot go anywhere if all the paddlers are doing their own thing.

GO WAHINE!!!

I totally agree. It was a super-epic battle. Of course I rooted for the Chinese women to beat Brazil. But what i fear is Serbia. They got their revenge last year when they defeated USA in the World Cup after having lost to them in the World Grand Prix. Serbia will be very difficult to beat twice now that they blew away the Russians. China will also be difficult to beat a second time should both teams make it to the final. Remember what happened in LA in 1984 when Lang Ping was a player then. So I don’t take for granted the USA will win gold. Look what happened with Kerri Walsh. She was so sure she and April would win beach volleyball gold but they lost to a talented Brazilian duo that they had recently beaten twice. Former losers can rise up from the ashes and turn the table on their victors.. Lesson is not to count one’s eggs before they hatch. Any of the final four teams (Netherlands, China, Serbia and USA) could win gold. There is definitely parity here and surprises abound. The team that makes less mistakes will win.

Wasn’t to find of the black/green and sideways tribal design of last year.lol

The Chinese really settled down their receiving after a blow out set 1. Great volleyball.

Or will this be Lang Ping’s first gold medal as a coach? Very interesting result…

and yes, Waikiki. Diamond Head kind of gives it away. It was Sunday morning, their free day.

I counted 4 canoes, so that’s 12 girls the camera guy caught. First canoe McKenna G, Annie, Kalei, second Emily, Kirsten, Ana, third Nikki, girl in green (Casey?), Emma (?), fourth last in the video, couldn’t make out anyone.

Only saw 6 girls; guess the cameraman could not follow all the canoes. (or the rest had other commitments)
