You or someone mentioned that often it is good to just touch or deflect the ball rather than having to block it outright. It can get to the other team if their attacks keep getting deflected. There was a match in the SSC in a previous year where UH’s attacks were often deflected and kept in play by the opponent.

Noodles held so that the top portion is above the net, looked like 8-10 inches. Leftsides did a lot of hitting crosscourt inside angle to avoid the ‘blocker’
