Looks like that article is treating the Hawaii win as a minor fluke. Also kind of like “look! Barry Bonds got 5 home runs” while burying the headline that the Giants lost the game in the end.

48. I would go even farther by saying Texas beating either Penn St. or Stanford is questionable. But you never know until the final whistle.

maverick — agreed. important for hawaii to win against SD. it’ll help the ‘nitty gritty’ part of their schedule, when the committee will look at hawaii’s record against top 25 and top 50 RPI teams. SD has a good chance of being a top 25 RPI team, imo.
