or that there needs to be an announcement if he is staying.
When he decides to say something he will.

Left over players for 2017 will not commit to a team not knowing who’s going to be the head coach. Need an official announcement real quick like.

You figure after the Europe trip, Shoji was able to scout and connect with coaches and former players (remember he was with Gustin), that could direct them to top foreign recruits. And if that’s the case the signing process can be really long, making sure they qualify and also that they aren’t considered professional.

And should UH want to maintain the standard Nikki Taylor has on the right, it may require going international.

And, every once in a while you can see them go the other way and show inexperience and a lack of awareness of the other teams adjustments. Blocking needs improvement asap, and offensively they need more consistent presence and production from the middle. If they can improve that part of their game, they’ll be consistently tough to beat on every point, set, and match. If they can’t, then good blocking teams will block and dig the pins with some success, and long rallies won’t be their friend. GCU is a good team that made adjustments and made it very interesting at the end tonight. An experienced Hawaii team would take note and be prepared for a battle on Friday.

Classy move. I really like him and hope his humbleness continues and spreads to the whole team. Not saying the team isn’t humble, just hoping he continues and the team follows his lead.

And Cindy, sorry, but yes. I am a bit worried about 2017 for indoor wahine. As a poster mentioned, most are done already and 2018 is already in full gear. I’m not even sure who is left for 2017 as far as top 100 recruits. It’s a little nerving. Sure they have had last minute recruits, but not like this where they only have 1 verbal so far. I’m thinking with this being Dave’s last year, I feel, that the recruits may be waiting and we are missing out. I definitely feel that Beach is taking some top potential recruits away from the indoor team.

Back to the men….I think they are going to the national tournament again this year, and I think with who we have on the bench…it could be for the next 4 years. What an exciting team to watch and get excited about.

47. Van Tilburg said he felt it was a very special team. Warriors have done a lot of bonding, and the training on Maui helped.

Team chemistry is so important and they seem to have it. I know they are sure fun to watch. Mighty mouse is better than ever!
