Also appreciated the $10 food vouchers and that the cheerleaders handed out individual ticket vouchers for next year. I already have my season tickets pre-ordered, but I guess I can bring some guests. Takes some of the sting out of the $40 ticket price. I noticed the current team was in the stands with us hoi polloi; the older former players made it to the crazy expensive tables. I guess the proceeds are going to the Dave and Mary Shoji scholarship fund. Many of Robyn and Angelica’s teammates were there, at the end they all got together and tossed Shoji in the air.

Kanoa Leahy had two funny stories to support a mini-roast since everyone was so NICE. Retired and current opposing coaches wished Shoji well over the Jumbotron. The rubber man made an appearance and did his dance, it was crazy good; my body hurt as i empathized after the gyrations. Lastly, Shoji pointed out that his last PSA reading was .o2 (excellent), looks like he beat Cancer. Many former players showed up …..Love was everywhere. Great Aloha Ball for Coach.
