Yes you can obtain an AA undergraduate degree but that would be from a 2-year institution, not a four-year one such as Stanford.

The reason she is at UH, after obtaining a B.A. in design from Satnford, is that Stanford is not offering sand scholarships yet.
UH offered her one for sand.
