I am pleasantly surprised that the Wahine still have a chance at getting the conference bid, as long as UCSB loses at LBSU, or whomever, AND of course if the Wahine don’t get upset again.

I’ll be rooting for LBSU, but at the same time, it may be in the best interests of the conference to have UCSB win out, and get 3 teams in the NCAAs. But still, if that were to happen no guarantee for CSUN, barring them not getting the automatic bid. Hawaii, at this point is a pretty safe bet, barring another shocking loss to like UCF or UC Riverside. :p

I wouldn’t be surprised if they ran the table on the BW.

LC, I agree about the fluke, and about the coach, not great but an upgrade from Gregory. Their win here was a fluke, what they gained was confidence, surely not as talented comparing players to UH, LBS and Northridge. Next season will prove my point, I don’t see them ending up higher than 4th.

first, head to head
second sets W vs. sets L
third, points scored vs. points given up (point differential)
fourth, I believe, is looking at the next team in the standings
At the moment that would be Long Beach State at No. 4. UH has the tiebreak over the 49ers,
UCSB still has to play at the Beach. 49ers won 3-2 at UCSB
CSUN has defeated the Beach twice.

at the moment, CSUN has a 118-115 edge on points over UH.
See new thread.

The first year coach from U Miami is no fluke. She restarted the Hurricane program and took them deep into post season regional play. She is doing the same at UCSB. Gauhco’s swept the Matador series and she will h
