43. Wait, so the team hasn’t played a regular season match yet this year and you’re already complaining that Huff and Koelsch aren’t getting playing time? Or are you referring to last year, when they WERE true freshmen?

My main gripe with Higgins setting last season besides the low sets to the middles , was how much she relied on Olevao, It made no sense to set the player with the lowest hitting percentage on the team by far, the most.
Hope Higgins relies more on the middles and Taylor this season.

42. I agree with this move of Taylor as LOH1 and Huff to the RS. Last season before the injury to Nikki, Shoji was projecting Nikki on the left and revolve his offense around her. Last night both Huff and Taylor showed terminating and blocking dominance at the net, and with their physical size can take over the matches. My starting lineup would be Taylor and Greeley OHs and Huff on the right, but knowing Shoji………………………………………………..

#43 Yeah, Dave is consistent. Some coaches like to play more girls – some don’t. Some want to see what a player can do in the game while some insists on seeing the player do it in the practice gym first. Maybe the next coach – but not this coach. It also appears that certain assertions, are also pretty consistent.

Coach needs to play more girls. They got the talent, why waste it. It is also wonderful for team chemistry.

Disagree. Im talking about the 2 Punahou starters vs Huff and Kendra. Your explanation is generalized. Both mainland girls are in their second year, they are not fresh face yearlings as you suggest.He did the same last year and the year before.

40. IMO, a better move is putting Taylor to the left and Huff to the right, even if the system is twice on one side and once on the other. Huff has been training on backing up Taylor.
