I’m not out of the ILH. I grew up in San Diego
At least three leagues would have to sponsor the sport for it to become HHSAA-sponored.. so it’s not going to be just the ILH.
I do see the BIIF getting on board with its strong club program and separate junior region.
The OIA, ILH, BIIF and MIL sponsor girls water polo. The few, the prosperous? … Kahuku, Roosevelt, Leilehua, Mililani, Kaiser, Kaiser all made the state girls water polo tournament last year. The OIA had 6 teams in the tournament, the ILH 2, MIL 2, BIIF 2.
that is based on the number of schools that sponsor the sport. 17 schools in the OIA have girls water polo
the ILH has 3 teams competing at DI, 5 at DII with Le Jardin and Pac-5 the only DII schools without at DI program.

People on the mainland can drive to/fro in the event that interscholastic play commences.

re: Arizona, Girl’s Sand VB can be divvied into regions, there, as forerunners on this new sport.

The BIIF (i think) is the only HHSAA “region” that could possibly be–loosely–classified in such a manner, also?.

What Cindy isn’t reporting..& so I’ll go ahead and do so myself..’cause Wong/Luis outta the ILH (recall) know what’s comfortable..

Like Girl’s Water Polo, you know, ONLY a certain few/prosperous will have the opportunity to truly enjoy Girl’s sand volleyball @ the HHSAA level.

Go for it, nevertheless!!

P&G must you be so negative? this is what KW told me. it sounds like a go. this is about Hawaii. it has nothing to do with the mainland. I don’t see that HHSAA is poorly managed. why do you?

It may be more of a weekend all-day tournament.
My son, who is coaching preps and clubs, thought it would be better if they went with a grass league. An interesting thought.

Siki is wearing a boot on his right foot and that’s all I know.

Things look grim for the final week of the season.

That is really bad news! This would be the worst timing if this is a serious injury. Did you see something happen like him going down?

I’m at the Alumni match right now and Siki just walked on court with crutches.

The public beaches are already in high demand…

Great idea, but the laws of supply and demand of court/practice/competition space may be the limiting factor as well as general interest.
