So unfortunate for Pepperdine to have a couple large hurdles to overcome leading up to and during the Championship.

They defeated Pepperdine 3-2 but Pepperdine’s #1 team forfeited all matches due to injury

As I live on the mainland now I get to see the team only occasionally and really appreciate the news I get from your columns and blogs. Keep up the good work. I have been following the Rainbow Wahine Volleyball team since Coach Shoji first started and have always respected the insite that you and Ann Miller have provided me with. Thank again. GO BOWS!!!

With the decision of turning the Natatorium into a public beach (sad and wrong) talk is of turning the defunct Farrington pool into a sand court. It has been closed for decades and nothing in the future says it will be reopened as a pool. It wouldn’t take much to make it a sand VB venue, certainly not the 6-plus $M they are talking about with the Natatoriium.
