6. yes, my bad, Enriques is a sophomore. had his brother Emmett on the brain.

8. The decision about the move and her husband’s orders came in March. She did know before the spring scrimmage but she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Didn’t tell the team until the week after the scrimmage. So there was no appropriate time to do the ‘send off’. ‘
But agree it would have been nice. She’s here until July.

I’m kinda bummed that we as Hawai’i was never really able to send Ah-mow off how she deserves. Unless I missed a huge ceremony at one of the games? Man, she’s awesome, love her, and would have loved to see us give her the huge ‘mahalo’ and ‘a hui hou’ she deserves. Hopefully she will be back, even if it’s just for a visit or something.

I thought Evan was a sophomore? I thought he would make first team all mpsf.
Im suprised at who they picked for POY.

I would be very happy if Tom Pestolesi becomes the assistant this year.

But I don’t know why people keep pushing the Shoji sons into coaching at UH. They have plenty of professional playing ahead of them and have little coaching experience, which would be a major requirement in taking over this program.

Congrats to the guys for their awards. Well deserved.

My fantasy concerning Pestolesi is that he coaches here for a year with Shoji and then applies for the Head Coach position if Shoji decides to pull the plug. Tom is about 55 yrs old and his retirement with Irvine is vested. He coaches here for about 5 years and in the mean time he grooms one of the Shoji boys to take over for him, insuring the dynasty continues! Additional bonus is that Tom and Diane are very close to Annie and she will play her heart out for them. Remember, this is just a fantasy!
