Right now, I don’t know if any of our MB can hit the stepout. I know Magill is strictly on “1” hitter. Maglio, from what I saw in the spring game is that same as Magill. Don’t remember seeing Burns hit the stepout so Shaney does bring that to our team. I also say some recruiting service list her as an OH so maybe that will be her position in college in 2 years.

7 agree with you. hard to judge players who are 2=plus years out and have only given an oral commit, which is not binding.

She was a six-rotation player contributing from all over. Her 319 kills were 100 more than the next closest kill leader on La Jolla Country and her 53 blocks led the team as well. In addition, she also finished second in digs and tied for fourth in aces. She even recorded 39 assists.

If she improves the vertical by 4-5 inches, she will be quite dynamic with her speed.

With Sibley, Granato, Her, Maglio, Castillo, Greeley, UH has some pretty nice attackers for 2017. Excited to see the future of this Wahine team

She has probably improved tremendously. She seems like a decent recruit. Kinda on the shorter side for a middle, but hits a heavy ball. Can see her and Maglio in the middle come 2017, or burns and maglio, and her starting after Maglio Graduates. Nice to finally get a 2017 recruit, seeing as we lose higgins and taylor the prior year, very important players.
