my mistake for typing Oceanic without giving the OCsports.tv link and combining the comment with the UH link. If you had clicked the arrow on the original post that was the UCI free stream.

as you said, you didn’t try. You could have easily listened as well. the internet radio was free.

The sand bows open play at the AVCA championships tomorrow at 4 am hawaii time. Wow brutal. Do they play another match after that one as well?

62. B I VB fan; There was also a stream link of the UH match from the Hawaii Athletics site which was a stream from a UC Irvine crew. This was a different stream than the OC 16 one. They also had a stream of the USC vs. UC Irvine match after the first semi-final.

61. I see, so UH would not play the other mpsf teams, makes sense.

62. I felt distraught after the UH loss earlier, but thinking it over I think the NCAA will choose UH over Pepperdine mainly because UH finished second in the mpsf regular season and have a winning record over Pepperdine. This of course if Irvine wins tomorrow.

Watching Austin Matuatia play makes me feel really good about UH men’s volleyball future. He has so much potential. Hope he grows a few more inches, but right now his backrow game and volleyball iq are really good for a junior.

Cindy, what did you mean by Oceanic Cable being free? One has to be an Oceanic TV subscriber to be able to watch the match. They didn’t offer the online broadcast to just anybody. I wouldn’t call it free for everybody, only to subscribers. I didn’t even try to watch or listen and that’s all right. Didn’t miss seeing the Warriors lose. I think that if Irvine beats Pepperdine in five sets, Pepperdine will get the at-large bid. Not looking good for UH.

60. no, it would be 3 days with triple headers or four days, depending on how travel goes. .
OSU and PSU want the RPI and the regional competition that 2 MPSF teams brings. Conference Carolinas would lower the RPI. but it looks good for regional competition.

If they could get 2 other MPSF teams besides UH then it would be MPSP vs. best of the rest. the MPSF teams would not play each other.
