Ginger is playing well. didn’t get a lot of her quotes into the story for tomorrow. She said that beach has really helped her blocking and think it will help her indoor game get better. She enjoys the pairing with Longo. UH coaches say that their quickness compensates for height and that they can beat taller teams with quickness and defense.

Tiegs was here but redshirting. Spoke with her briefly. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it either since everyone has moved on. Asked how her folks were doing and how she liked Arizona. She said she really liked the school.

Just terrific!! I’m so happy for Scott and the girls as the program certainly has progressed from the first year to now and its only going to get better. Except for Pepperdine, the wahine sandbows have played all their matches tough and as was duly noted, today’s match with USC could have gone the other way. I’m so happy that they blanked Arizona and, of course, Croson et. co. Ha..ha..ha..and with Shoji yelling his support, how can the girls lose…..ha..ha…terrific………
