Actually, Dave Shoji is quoted as saying Hawaii is a poor blocking team and its national blocking stats show it to be so. However, the block showed up big tonight. Hope this is a harbinger of the future. If Hawaii can improve its blocking significantly, it will definitely be in the running for a national championship this season as Holly McPeak suggests.

other than that i thought Hawaii did a very decent job at winning this match. taylor continues to impress me.
