couple of comments
Fey brings a lot to the court beyond kills. There’s leadership. e’s much better passer and server than Rosenmeier, Wade has said that a lot of the different of different options hinge on how Fey plays and he has not hesitated to pull him, including at Long Beach.
As for next year’s schedule, we only know that it is a true round robin with 10 Big West matches and all six teams go to the conference tournament.
BYU will be here next season, nonconference.

Grand Canyon beat Lewis today ( could have beat them Friday also), that should help our RPI as well as UCI beating BYU.

the warriors would be in great shape for the at large if they had beaten Long Beach State the first night, ugh. Now need to sweep one of BYU/UCLA and split with the other.

Lori, your suggestion has been discussed and passed along in past blogs and has merit IMO. However; Namahoe has developed faster than expected and I think Fey is still more valuable as guy you can plug in when needed either on the left or at libero.

Rado hits well from the left but I assume he can not pass because he has played right all his life as a left handed player.
Stijn was a left side hitter before arriving at UH, UH moved him to the right last year out of neccessity, I think he’s just gotten used to not passing LOL, he needs to work on his passing because he needs to go back to his original position.

van Tilburg on the left didn’t work well in the 1st match at LBSU, but was good in the 2nd.

Would they consider switching Fey and Tuileta where Fey is the libero since he is a good passer? That way they both stay on the floor but in different positions. Just a thought.

24. I agree the team should have a next man up culture. If one guy even if he is the best player on the team ( stijn) isn’t getting the job done one match, the next man up should be called in and see if he can do better. No hard feelings main thing is to win.
