Only benefit I’m seeing from this tournament is playing in an away tournament. Don’t know how all the moving around of teams into other conferences will affect things. as cubi mentioned, Creighton to the Big East. The MVC has had quite a high RPI, deserved or not, but don’t think South Dakota is much help.

Wichita St out of the Missouri Valley Conference always seems to provide a RPI boost whenever they’re on Hawaii’s schedule.

Creighton won the MVC last season, but they move to the Big East for this upcoming season. I don’t know what they lose to graduation, but if they can maintain their competitiveness, then they’ll be an RPI boost as well.

South Dakota St.— I was hoping for another team, maybe from the Big10 or the Big12. But I guess overall the RPI-benefit of Creighton and Wichita St outweighs what South Dakota St will bring for Hawaii’s RPI. The best we can hope for is that they keep their win/loss record above .500 at least.

Looks like the Wahine will be playing Creighton, South Dakota and Wichita St. at the Shocker Volleyball Classic, Sept. 20-21.

Thanks TW, just posting what VBMag had. UH lists him as 6-4, Fey at 6-6, Frank at 6-7
There is a chance that Keckin is no longer coming to UH. He isn’t on the current roster
As some has noticed, the roster is missing several players.
Phelps and Weschung are gone. Leung, the transfer from Pepperdine, isn’t listed but was told he intends to be at UH in fall.
