Heard it was in the high 90’s on the sand today at the Olympic Training Center with not a cloud in the sky. A very different playing environment for our Wahine Sand players.
With Tiegs out (injured back) it will be interesting to see who SW decides to pair with Cook going forward. Riggs stepped up big time to fill in this weekend for Tiegs (coming up from the 4th flight). Heard Riggs had several serving runs with her powerful jump serve. Our Sand players have a lot going for them this season with so much depth within the ranks of the team.
