15. Fisher could be the 2=for-1 that Shoji hopes for. Don’t know if K. Wong was to give up his TV stuff IMHO Pestolesi would be a natural choice but it would depend on a lot of things falling into place.
I’m sure there will be plenty of qualified applicants.

My dream scenerio is Dan Fisher being named associate indoor and wahine beach volleyball head coach.

But more realistically, hopefully it’s Kevin Wong as beach head coach and Brad Keller as indoor Assistant coach.

I think that what will make the job attractive to those coaches is that it is a gateway to a major head coaching job in the future.

About the next associate or assistant. I think Shoji will hire someone on the younger side, like Sealy and Scott Wong when they were hired. Don’t see Pesto or Kevin Wong being considered, they both have good jobs now anyway , Pesto at IVC and Kevin as an tv commentator although Maybe Kevin can be the beach coach and do the commentating at the olympics still.

Someone like Dan Conners would have been perfect, but Davis snatched him up during the summer. I could see Pepperdine mens assistant David Hunt or UCSB men’s assistants Tyson Norton or Cullen Irons or Brad Keller UCLA men’s assistant. I think men’s coaches usually translate well to womens ,Sealy and Wong started out coaching men.

Granato really had an awesome senior year, I don’t think a player has had better stats in HI state championship game since Danielson. In comparison I remember Olevao had 6 kills in the championship game her senior year.
