6. its surprising that tai didnt get pissed earlier like in the first match vs irvine. she said team btw not exclusively herself.

7. curiously na wahine lets the crowd bother them. they may need to learn how to harvest off the crowd energy like how byu did last year.

10 and 11. they werent threatened a match point in that byu or fresno state game

12. shoji never took out his frustrations on the players…this time. he seemed pretty pissed during the csun match so its not never. shoji this time was chillin and seemed cocky that no way irvine was going to beat hawai’i for the first time ever even though the wahines situation was dire at set 3. he of course made some changes and took out some of his magic dust.

btw the “woulda..coulda..shoulda” is the song for losers and is also sung by the norm chow inside access program. and thats not my opinion because i watched it.

13. TMOs storyline quote “…take all the advantages (UCI) had and turn them into ours.” – her high watermark forwarding her team to victory despite having been left for dead.

4. wasnt really a complaint about service errors, but at 13 throughout the entire match, its just like vs sdsu that its inexcusable (greeley was the best server in service ace-to-error ratio that even she was embarrassed). they need to work on it again just like higgins said she been working on hers when she had the 8 aces vs new mexico. also wasnt picking on tai neither but said especially higgins and tai since they are jump servers, they need to polish up on it to make it sting more.

i dunno who complains when they serve too easy. hell i dont care if they old school original underhand serve it just for accuracy in getting it over the net. for overhead float servers, its probably best to stand as far behind the service line as much as possible and do a standing float (not jumping) hitting the ball as hard as possible utilizing power and range to lob or mortar it over the net and into the other court unless your a big server ie 6′ player such as adolpho who can just stand float it normal including taking something back to bolt the ball over.

She posted a video showing Olivia on the outside , i think. Excerpt from the internet, but i like her as the middle blocker :

” John Tawa, publisher of PrepVolleyball.com: “Oozing with potential, Magill is a high flying, ultra-dynamic athlete capable of playing multiple positions. She played on the outside on her state championship high school team last fall and was an active, big-blocking middle for her club team the rest of the year.”

I suppose that we should leave the real vb to those who played beyond our teen years.

Manu Olevao belongs hitting 2/3 on the RS

(a trip to the 2014 Seattle Regional is on the line)
It’s time for a Change-up against AVCA Top25 LBSU, in exactly one week.
Maglio is fired up to play against the 49ers; 90’s Brazil vs. Cuba comes to mind.
Outsides—Magill, Olevao & Taylor @OPP
MBs—Adolpho, our Canadian VBM Fab50 selection
Setter—Higgins
Libero—Kahakai
w/Mendoza @DS (for Magill)

Long’s a must to sub for Magill when/IF she struggles.

This kind of offense from a setter forces the defense from keying solely on the pins. Our pins need help, and Olivia and Adolpho can’t do it alone.
