Hawaii CAN be young but they start 3 seniors in Fey, Franciskovic, Mol. Tuileta technically a junior (they may appeal that.)
plus they have sophomore who has had substantial playing time as freshmen, in van Tilburg

SC pulled their starters to give reserves some playing time on Friday. they had 2 freshmen, 4 sophomores, 1 senior libero who barely played.

Just watched the replay of the 2nd USC match and the announcers point out how USC has their underclassmen on the floor, and it’s not just USC but I have heard how some of the other teams are young as well from previous matches…

WELL… Hawai`i is VERY young. Maybe even younger at times on the court. We could potentially start 3 or 4 Freshmen and 4 or 3 Sophomores [Matautia(F), Gasman(F), Parapunov(F)/von Tilburg(S), Rosenmeier(S), Worsley(S), Tuileta(S), Solbrig(S)] and still beat most of or all other teams. The future is now and the future looks bright for Hawai`i Men’s volleyball… But of course Franciscovic, Mol and the recent steadiness of Fey always make the team that much better as well!!!
