Remember asking Coach Murphy if he was going to go w different pitcher in game 2, after the dominant performance in game 1. Gave a smug answer saying no we treat this like any SEC dblhdr. Went with other pitcher,Wahine gained momentum and rest is history baby! Moral of story- a super regional IS NOT LIKE ANY SEC DBLHDR. Spectacular dramatic pressure cooker environment I will never forget. Go. Bows.

I also remember Hawai’i fans complaining about the broadcasters for that game. The ending of the Missouri game was awesome as well! What a magical season!
