Based on Oct 26 article, this could be the year for for the beach volleyball team. They have a Big Ten grad transfer, Allyssah Fitterer, , who played four years indoor for Michigan State, among others.

The beach roster has been posted for a while.

Off topic but getting right to point, height in VB is overstated. There are many great players who stood six feet or less, held their own, even in Olympics. Logan Tom, our coach, Kanani, Cubi Aneli, and could go on and on.

I am all for recruiting these “not tall enough to play up front”. If they can play, earn their spot, let’s recruit these players. If we can also recruit taller players who can also play, earn their spot, let’s recruit them.

    new thread up
UH hadn’t released men’s schedule because they were waiting on sponsors to be named for the other two tournament.
have had it for a while.
Jan. 4-6 has USC< Juniata and Stevens Institute
    UCSD is here March 30-31

    1. roster's been up for quite a while.
    2. yes, they believe this is the year as I wrote about.
    3. don't think so. They are pretty stacked right now. If anything, you might see a couple of other indoor players come over. Koelsch could do so since she's out of indoor eligibilty but she also has a heavy student-teaching schedule.
