Cindy, is Spectrum going to show any of the tournament games? I heard they were going to show all of the games, but I haven’t seen anything confirming that. Thanks in advance. Go Bows…

  2. haka April 18, 2019 4:26 pm

Haven’t heard if any color designation for game. Is their one? Whiteout? Greenout?

  3. Cindy Luis April 18, 2019 4:26 pm

    1. it’s been mentioned since last weekend they are televising all matches

  4. Don April 18, 2019 5:11 pm

Oh look! FOUR line judges! Someone figured it out…

  5. Cindy Luis April 18, 2019 5:23 pm

    4. it’s required. only 1 official is local, one of the linesmen

  6. Don April 18, 2019 5:43 pm

    4. Should be this way for all conference matches.

  7. jm2375 April 18, 2019 5:53 pm

2 of the linesmen are local.

  8. Cindy Luis April 18, 2019 6:34 pm

    8. When shirts are $35 for the tourney and you can only buy packages not single game tickets until the day of the match, I guess $$ comes before the purity of the game…sad…

  11. Cindy Luis April 18, 2019 8:06 pm

    8. don’t know what you mean about the purity of the game being affected by how ticket sales were handled.
Pretty much the norm that packages are sold until day of the first match and then single tickets go on sale. they weren’t going to sell two-day packages.
If T-shirts are $35 that is set by the Big West.

    11. The complaint I hear about having 4 line judges has to do with $$. If the BW is making money off of advanced ticket sales and pricey merchandise, why can’t they subsidize season-long 4 line judges as they do when it gets to the tournament time. What makes the tournament so special that we as fans can’t be entitled to consistency in officiating standards all season long? Was there the challenge review system? I didn’t hear an announcement…

  13. Cindy Luis April 18, 2019 10:02 pm

    12. don’t understand how that would work. Tickets sales haven’t been going on all season so how could you subsidize matches that began play in January?
Yes, the challenge review system is effect whenever matches are televised. All these matches are.
You want consistency? then require all schools to have the challenge system in place.

    2. Green is what I read.

  15. Aloha73g April 19, 2019 9:42 am

Looks like less than 1,200 tickets available for Friday’s Semi-Final. Should have the feel of a sellout even if it doesn’t make it to 10,300.

    Aloha!

  16. Cindy Luis April 19, 2019 10:08 am

    15. Tickets issued for Wednesday 7287. Turnstile about 2500
the teams involved loved the “big” crowd last night.
    Should be good crowd tonight.
