Baseball has had 6:35 slot but they’ve also had day games. could have easily moved it to 4.
Hopefully they figure out something when Baseball vs. Fullerton conflicts with Big West VB touranement.
15. lot closed after it was full. as others mentiuoned construction has cost stalls. The lost a lot when expanding law school too.

12. Are you referring to his injury? Looks to be season-ending, poor guy. Something about coming down on his foot and being unable to get up. Tough break for him, as he was finding success at UCLA.

I’m curious as to why the arena parking was closed last night March 9th, and will it be closed next weekend when hopefully there will be a larger crowd for the volleyball game.

One thing that’s impacting parking until the end of March is the construction project on the west side of the 5th floor. They’re doing a solar panel installation. Until that project is done, the structure is down about 200 stalls. One alternative to the parking structure would be upper campus. After 4pm, it’s $6. The lot behind Bachman Hall is pretty close to the structure and arena. Another would be the pay parking by the varsity building where the old varsity theater used to be. There’s also the pucks alley structure but that’s not too big. Lastly, there’s the parking structure by the Hawaiian Studies Building. It’s a bit of a walk, but at least you can avoid traffic by coming to campus off Waialae Ave., up St. Louis Dr., turning left onto Dole St. The Hawaiian Studies Parking structure is just past Kanewai Park. Again, it’s a bit of a walk from the structure to the arena, but if you really need parking, that’s an option.

Change comes hard, Baseball fans will scream they had the 6:35 pm slot for years. I’m neither a baseball or volleyball fan. I like going to the softball games where you can sit wherever you want and admission is free. $6 parking; $6 for gas; and $12 for eats and drink. Not bad. All I have to do is drive 28 miles each way; fight traffic going home and I get to sit on a hard bench seat.

The baseball game should have been scheduled as a day game to de-conflict. Some of the baseball fans would have left after the game, some would have migrated over to watch the volleyball match after the day game completed. Someone in the Athletics Department needs to exercise some good judgement.

So annoyed with UH, had friends in town and couldn't get parking ... At 730 we gave up searching for parking and left to go have dinner... The line off the freeway was so long... We would've caught an uber from Waikiki had we known parking was going to be an issue.. UH should offer a refund, I knew we should've just purchased our tickets at the arena...
