I dunno I’ve lost interest in Rainbow basketball ever since they went into the Big West. Yeah there was that one great year in the NCAA tourney but other than that, Hawaii plays mostly lemons in early season then the Big West teams come in and it’s just…yawn.
I’d rather watch Duke or Kansas or Michigan on tv.
Now, UH Men’s volleyball, those guys can play at the highest level and I’m definitely a fan.

I think a lot of people, especially casual UH basketball fans, think this team is too boring because we don’t have a takeover the game type of player on this team. But as a basketball fan who grew up watching all the UH games and played basketball myself, it’s great watching a team like this work together and put out such an exciting product on the floor. Sure, we don’t have extremely athletic players, or the Bobbitt or Jankovic type of players of the NCAA tourney team. But we have a bunch of guys willing to do anything they can to help the team win, and that’s all that matters.
