Long Beach State has a real home court advantage. There was question as to if the LBSU shooter hit the trey before the shot clock expired towards the end of overtime, but during the first available timeout, the UC-Riverside coach went to the scorer’s table and was told that THERE WAS NO VIDEO AVAILABLE.

Whitey — I remember when Jeff Reihnbold left his job in NFL Europe to become a graduate assistant under June Jones. When asked why, he said there will never be such an assemblage of former d1 and NFL coaches again, and he wanted to be a part of it. It’s obviously not about money.

Coach Graham is assembling a bunch of experienced and rising d1 coaches. Maybe they have the same motivation for coming, and for now, it’s not about money. I find this all very exciting…

Coach Graham apparently knows good coaches who also have excellent recruiting skills. With speed and talent as a goal, these new coaches all have contacts in football hotbeds to fill the needs of winning everyday. Congratulations Warriors and good luck and best wishes.

I have a cold. This is disappointing. I could wear a mask to protect my cousin from contracting my cold. But do I want to look like an Asian national and wear the mask at the game? I need to erase the traumatic memory of the Long Beach State game with a happy memory. Hawaii will rebound tonight. I want to test my “nobody is good” theory about the Big West. At my former job, I once had a bad cold and wore a mask and made my coworker wear a mask because he wanted a ride home. He left the mask on the floor of my car. I thought it was a mistake. But he did the very same the next night.

UC-Davis plays at home against UC-Irvine today. If they lose, Hawaii moves into a first-place tie. Davis lost to Riverside. It could happen. It must be a decade since I watched a non-Hawaii Big West women’s basketball game. Hawaii was so clutch against CSUN. They’re down, but in the recent past, no way does the team rally down from 13.

And three words about UH/North Dakota State: What the heck?
