I have to say, I do not understand the Illegal Substitution rule. I’ve seen referees hold up play until players get off the field then singal play. Today, they let play go before players were off the field. Result, penalty and a first down…game over.
However, this was a really good game….Alabama goes down!

Alabama Auburn is one hell of a game!

Watching some great games to day.
Alabama just got messed up by the officials. Supposedly last play of the game and time expired. Auburn wanted a review that allowed them to get the FG team on the field and in place. Auburn wanted 1 second put back on the clock. Review after review and I didn not see any “CLEAR” evidence that the runner was down with all the mass of players, to over turn the call of time expiring. Officials gave Auburn 1 second. FG was good from 52 yards. Wonder if Alabama will ply the rest of the game under protest.
Anyways…….hoping the Warriors will leave no doubt tonight……!!!
