Jolie for Hanna was the logical substitution. Needed to get some playtime for Jolie. Needed a spark which Jolie provided. Needed to minimize disruption to current lineup. See Hanna starting and Jolie coming in as needed tomorrow. Don’t see Norene going back to setting only unless we are down 2-0.

Ah Mow was an assistant in 2013. She is well aware of what happened.
As for Hellvig, not that she was playing poorly but UNC had three up on her. I had thought that they’d put in Rasmussen at some point just to get her back into the feel of the game. She changed the dynamics for sure.
don’t know why you folks are advocating for whole-sale changes right now. They haven’t played with Rassmussen for 20 matches. It’s easier for them to change one player than to change the entire offense, serve-receive patterns and blocking schemes.

22. Hellvig was doing just fine and I suspect Robyn might have used her for Iosia if needed, but UH was dominating the set before Choy even got in so Robyn probably didn’t want to mess with the chemistry.

Jolie is in for Hanna makes sense so that Jolie only has to play front court. Should be interesting lineup tomorrow to see how we match up with San Diego’s 6’5″ pin hitter.

RObyn needs to play both Howena and Julie in the front row. She may have to sit Ross oriosia in order to do it but she needs the bigger block against San Diego.

Whew! The Wahine woke up and smoked ‘em. Good thing too because USD will be a far, far tougher opponent. UH will need to come out of the gate strong tomorrow.
