Now Jolie is back in action, hopefully, less burden on Hana in front row, and time for Hana to get back to full rotation with back row pounding as in pre-season 2019… Pre-season belongs to teams with strong in offence. Key players, Jolie, Hanna. BVS, two MBs are equally responsible to bring/drive others and new comers to acceptable levels to build a useful squad for 2020…

Hope Kate Lange doesn’t decommit. These students are so young you don’t know what’s going through their mind. All the freshmen last season seem to handle not playing at times and having to battle for playing time. So Coach Robyn must be giving them the reality of college VB up front.

#20. Woah! That’s a large exodus. I noticed that Mylana didn’t play much last year. Hence the transfer. Also, I read her Q&A. Seems she started off as a hitter and switched to setter later in high school. Maybe that’s why she transferred all the way here to Hawai’i, to learn from Robyn?

Alabama had a new coach for 2019, Lindsey Devine, who had a successful 16-year head coaching career at East Tennessee State before accepting the HC position at Alabama. Starting her first year at Alabama, she had 19 players on her roster last year. 7 returning players are currently listed on their 2020 roster. Seems like there was a mass exodus at Alabama

17. I too am excited about the future, but everyone else is trying to do the same. I don’t require that they win. It’s enough that they are competitive with everyone else and depending on the breaks of the game, can win. I assume the Nebraska game gave the coaching staff a pretty good homework sheet.

Regarding Via…she was an invited walk on so I don’t think there will be any formal announcement or anything like that to confirm her not coming here but there are some “obvious” signs of that.

She have removed her picture of her wearing the UH shirt. i also think she changed that heading on her IG and have removed all reference to Hawaii. Not sure why she would do such a thing if she was still coming.
