Noticed that Iran won the U21 Championship. They should concentrate on these types of events instead of making trouble so to speak.

Warrior commit helps Brazil to bronze

Incoming Hawaii freshman middle Guilherme Voss Messias Dos Santos had a match-high seven blocks as Brazil swept Russia 25-21, 27-25, 25-12 for the bronze medal at the FIVB U21 World Championship on Saturday in Bahrain.

The 6-foot-5 Dos Santos also hit 1.000 while putting down five kills and added an ace. He led the tournament with a 0.88 blocks per set average and finished hitting .651.

1. Zarkovic is the head coach.
4. As for Gasman, he will be back playing for UH, although he could have graduated with his 2019 Class.
As mentioned, Cowell is the only collegiate player on this team.
The U.S. is stack with middles, which is part of why Averill is the odd man out on the senior national team.

Pat might be worn out from the season and maybe he wants to recover before having a stellar senior season. I don’t think playing Vball year round is something every volleyball players want to do.

Some don’t mind it but others may prefer to do other things.

Pat will have his chance to show his stuff or try out for the Pan American team after his senior season. Maybe now, he is working and pursuing other things in life.

No worries….Pat will not give up volleyball. If he wanted to leave the game, he could have done it last year and let the fans honor him. Playing your senior season and

3. Not every player wants to play for the National team, and I am not sure if he has plans for playing volleyball professionally after graduation. I think he may be working (possibly an internship) for his future career. Gage was also the only Libero to make all-American first team, and he could’ve probably played for some of the national teams, but he has other plans this summer.

4. He may not be trying out for those teams, but that doesn’t mean he is just not playing volleyball anymore. He will be back next season.

Ive seen Patrickt around town this summer, so I’m wondering if he just has chosen not to play v ball anymore, which I could be completely wrong or he has been trying but not being placed on teams. Also Rosey has stayed in Hawaii this summer too, I think he told me he was tying up loose ends before leaving at end of summer?

Awesome for Colton to be the only current collegiate player on the team. The dude is going to play a bigger role this coming season with all his international experience.

If Colton can raise his level and our incoming freshmen live up to their hype, we should be tough to handle again.

Wahine is first up but is very looking forward to the men’s season also.
