Serving tough is easy but serving tough and keeping it in play is entirely another matter. The Wahine have great blockers so let them do their job, but they can’t if we give up freebies with serves into the net or long and against good teams, we’ll be playing catch up all night if this happens.

Too often, after a timeout or a great play by our side, we give the ball up to the other team by a bad serve. This is such a momentum buster.

And we all know that Granato is a great banger, but I’d rather she play smart, which means tooling the blocks, off speed shots and dinks. Keep them guessing.

No pressure Wahine, just go out there and take care of business.

GO BOWS.

Last four games, -7, -7, even, -5. How can Wahine win against really good teams with that kind of consistency. I further propose that the SAs are inflated due to the caliber of the competition and not the effectiveness of service. That is why it is so frustrating to watch this team this year.

Very strong at serving; very dependable; count on her to make a good dig and passes well.

Seem to be playing with more confidence, frankly, taken them long enough.

Imo, players have to show up ready to play, focused. That seems to be their biggest hurdle as far as the mental aspects are concerned. During the game, you should be on autopilot.

Kahakai has matured and is right up there with the best liberos in the country.

Let’s give Robyn and her coaching staff credit where it is due. Also like Angelica always coaching up their players. Coaching is teaching.

Just my two pennies.

Also, the sooner they start training Sophia for the pins the better. Kendra is a very decent all around player but we need a terminator at her spot now. In m.o. it should be Kirsten. I also think Ma’afala should move into Clair-Marie’s spot but I do in general like Coaches use of her “smalls”. I like the way that Burns does not give them an excuse to replace her. Castillo is a very smart player and fun to watch. Emily has come such a long way she makes the season worthwhile just to see her continue to grow. We are good enough to beat Cal Poly if every one contributes.

Only hope is transfers and JC players. Maybe a sleeper or project. Maybe able to get 2019 seniors but most of top players already know where they want to go.

But I agree we need someone in the pipe for after that.

She was here with her mom and I recognized her mom from a picture on her Instagram .

She is said to be 2019 though so she is not coming in with Trinity and Kamalei.

I would really like to know who we getting for 2018.
