Love watching you play real solid, intelligent and hard fought basketball. You are much, much, and Much – more fun to watch than the LA Lakers. Thanks for working your tails off. The hard work shows as your play is consistent and at a high standard. At this level, you can respectfully hang with anyone in the country. We will be cheering you on!

It stated that NC had a sloppy game based on the closeness of the score and the fact that NC had 19 turnovers. Obviously, whoever wrote the article did not see the actual game. While most focused on Kuehu’s 28 points, what is not emphasized is how disruptive Kuehu can be on defensive end. With her long and quick arms she is constantly tipping passes and swiping at opposing players driving towards the basket. She also block shots. Then too, Ashleigh Karaitiana is also strong and quick and has 18 steals already this year. Morgan Mason also is adept at steals. In other words, NC did not have an “off” night. As both Van Derveer and Hatchell stated, Hawaii is a good team, including its defense.

Gotta provide incentives to her so that she stays with the Rainbow Wahine rather than return to USC.

And I would say the men’s basketball is raising its game even with the early season problems. Kudos to coach Taylor. Now we are just waiting for the football program to raise its game.

level called “elite”. Barring injury I see them making the NCAA tournament at season’s end.

IF you convert 40% of all the missed shots in FT, layup and 3FG then,
You will be getting votes in the polls instead of praises!?

Do take advantage of these experiences to improve yourselves.

Lady Luck will smile with you for the majority of the remaining opportunities this season!
