I just don’t care to attend or watch on television the NFL Pro game. Why? It’s not football in any sense of the word. You can’t block a punt, you can’t do this or that. The players doesn’t want to hurt themselves because of that your not seeing a real NFL game.
They should scrape it altogether.

The city give the NFL a special permit to serve booze on the beach and the NFL in turn gives the fans a lousy game.Of course the State didn’t do much better on how they handled this event. Best thing is no more Pro Bowl and the State can use the money they paid to have the game here to some other use.

DR: I think that the HSTA should not pay the NFL the $5M for the Pro Bowl and the give the money to UH Athletics instead. That should more than make up the athletic deficit at UH.

Regarding how Aloha Stadium handled the Pro Bowl, it was horrible.
1. Long lines to get in, got to our seats with 3 mins. left in the first quarter
2. Stood in the concession lines near the end of the second quarter, after 20 minutes, was told “they ran out of food”
3. Stood in another concession lines for at least 45 mins., got to our seats at the end of the third quarter.

As frustrating as it was, I decided to “stick it out” to see how bad things are with the stadium despite missing 2/3’s of the game.

Never again will I attend any function at the stadium (except UH football which I will continue to support)

Scrap the game. Traffic was bad and the game itself lost it’s luster. Even if they thinking of having it in Australia. Who would pay to go there?

Blame the refs for the non contact of this game. Just looks at the Michael Bennett play near the game of the game if you want a good example. The refs are hired by the NFL, and apparently they gave them specific instructions to make it a non-contact game.

Revert back to AFC vs NFC so teammates don’t have to play against each other. Payout should be perhaps $80,000 to the winner and $20,000 to the loser. Perhaps they could also choose a charity to play for. In the second half the losing team gets the ball back after they score.

If Goodell wants to improve the game, he should move the game back to the week after the Super Bowl, change the format back to NFC vs. AFC, and then resign.
