But Navy is not yet in the Top 25. Close. This week they come in at #31. And I can’t believe Ohio St remains at No. 1. Nothing against them, but they struggled mightily against Indiana. Baylor received 10 first-place votes, coming in 3rd behind TCU.

Very proud of Navy and Niumatalolo and Jasper– two ex-UH quarterbacks who have turned Navy into a powerhouse even with the limitations of one of our service academies. Navy has consistently played well season after season. One of the great things Paul Johnson did was take these two (and another I cannot recall) former Hawaii players and got them started on great careers in coaching. Kenny gets a multi-million salary these days.

While they beat Indiana, they did not look good. It was a one-man show. Ezekial Elliott really bailed out Ohio St. from a loss.
