There were notable changes from the classic rock bumpers of the early days to the electronic picks of I think
Alan Miwa (sp?) to the recent stuff.

I preferred the classic rock bumpers.
No question, though, the guests were tops during Phil Slash’s tenure.

A good get this week was the woman reporter from a Texas newspaper commenting about Johnny Manziel
autographs.
She said it would be wrong for rule changes to be made so college athletes could get paid for their stuff.
Because only qbs would get paid!
What about the o line men, she said.
“That’s not fair,” she said.

Said Bobby Curran: This is America!
Let the o line go out and create their own market.

I agree with Bobby Curran: Liberty before equality.
And I agree with Phil Slash: Give it up for this lady.

Aloha and best wishes to the two.

Yeah funny thing about Chris Hart and Gary Dickman, the Animals. When I first heard them a few years ago, just could not stand them. But over time, like a cancerous tumor, they’ve grown on me and I actually like listening to them, catch them whenever I can. They don’t take sports so seriously, they have fun with it, they respect everybody’s opinion, and that’s how it should be, at least IMHO.

I remember him well as Phil Slash on 98 Rock. Many have had to reinvent themselves in local radio. Chris Hart, Phil, Danielle Tucker, “UncleTom” Moffatt, Mahlon Moore, Brock Whaley and others. Many radio stations cut talent and went to pre-recorded stuff to cut costs.
