CSU will open 0-4 and that won’t look good early. But this is a Mike Bobo team. When it’s all said and done, CSU will be just north or south of .500. UH’s upset will be a big-picture victory.

It’s unfair to criticize Dru Brown.
He’s a good guy who worked hard and gave it all he had for two years. It was better for him to move on because he would have had to learn a new offense. And it was better for UH. If he won the job, as a senior, it would not have helped the long-term progression of the team. UH would have had to start over again. His development at OSU was stunted because his transfer wasn’t official until he graduated. Give him credit for earning a degree in three years.
This was an amicable divorce.

Colorado beat Colorado St 45-13. Attendance was 70,158 at Bronco Stadium. CU QB Montez, 22 for 25, 4 TD’s, looked like a Heisman candidate, similar to Cole McDonald.
CSU QB only passed for 176 yds, 1 TD.
