PARK RIDGE, N.J. >> This really is a business trip.
The UH athletic department is hosting 15 corporate sponsors for the road game against Army. Each year, UH hosts a group of sponsors on a football trip that strengthens the bond between the athletic department and corporate sector.
One of the events includes attending tonight’s baseball game at Yankee Stadium.

The Warriors concluded field preparation for tomorrow’s game with today’s practice at Saint Joseph’s Regional High School.

Yes. Lori Santi is awesome. She gives excellent analysis and sets up others well, real smooth……. And Dave Shoji was good when the UH Softball team went to the Softball World Series. I think with some preparation he could do any sport too. Both of them under rated (or unrated in Shoji’s case). They have a good eye for analyzing strategy. Gifted.

I enjoyed Dick Tomey as football color analyst. He would predict the play (accurately) based on formation, down/distance, etc., before it was run. Very informative.
You should be able to make a direct comparison to the bottom tier (40th percentile I would estimate) of the Power 5’s because this game is on the road. Much easier to compare this way. It does help that Colorado St. beat Arkansas and UH beat Colorado St. on the road. So many potential viewers for this “prime time” game so I hope UH brings their “A” game. Important. For both now and the future. The whole of the National College Football fan base is asking “is Hawaii for real?” (especially ESPN). We about to show the them. GO WARRIORS!!
Cappie count me on the Santi bandwagon. She is way under utilized. I’m convinced she can call any sport and not just add to the broadcast but be really enjoyable to listen to. She’s knowledgeable, fair and like the best she knows when to talk and when to allow the game to unfold.

Although I am an Army retiree, let me make it absolutely clear who I am cheering for tomorrow morning. May Ke Akua bless the Army ohana, but I’ve fulfilled my duty. I’ve have been a Warrior fan(atic) and Tsaiko most passionately and will never be anything less. I know there’s a Tsaiko section in the Heavenly stadium. Hooah! Pumping it up for tomorrow! đ

Go Bows! It’s going to be tough for the internal clocks of the players to play at 6am HST. At least one positive it’s the same time as their morning practices. Hoping to see another dynamic performance by the offense and a hard hitting turnover causing defense. With an offense like ours it gives Batoon some leeway to take risks and play more aggressive.

Speaking of St. Joseph, I remember taking St. Josephâs aspirin when getting sick as a kid. Take a day off from school (not too many days. You fonât wanna take more than one day). Ma make you soup and soda crackers and butter. Fruit punch, whichâfor some reasonâwould taste much better than fruit punch drinking when healthy.

On a side note, gang, I have been bragging to folks all day at work that I have ch. 1247 CBS sports network and that I have a breakfast feast at the ready and that Idonât have to wake up early to go ANYWHERE to watch the game. Just cook up the fat, grease (pardon THAT pun), eggs, rice, crispy up some chocolate crescÄnts, pour the POG on ice and cheer on Warriors.

Hawaii to continue steady upward trend in winning all three phases of contest…last week was their worst game on ST play …defense won’t be pushed around I expect to the contrary, dive play will be squashed, perimeter well defended, back end needs to be keying on the pass downfield!
